The Rourkela Institute of Management studies Rourkela is pleased to announce that an international Conference on Marketing (ICON-M ' 09) will be held from 6th to 8th September, 2009. The theme of the conference is "Marketing in Emerging Markets".
This Conference on emerging markets is diffused within Management literature. while research on the emerging markets is on increase, yet the dynamism of the market and its eclectic nature have made issues in that market far from being adequately understood. The need therefore to contribute to the discourse on emerging markets has made it imperative to create platforms for further discourse , more so when economics in the market are assuming increasing roles in the world economic and political agenda.
